Term begins on Even Years.
This is a 6 year term - 2 as President-Elect, 2 as President, 2 as President-Emeritus, with these final two years as a more passive board member.

    The duties of the President include but are not limited the preparing agendas for and conducting KYATA business meetings and Executive Board meetings, appointing committee chairs, reviewing committee assignments and progress, and developing policies of KYATA.

Create and send E-News to membership (updates on meetings, trainings, etc)
Send out meeting reminders to board members
Create Business Meeting Agenda
Transport and Manage KYATA property
Monitor Post office box  (w/ Treasurer)
Manage KYATA membership lists (AATA and KYATA) and keep up to date
Manage LPAT board connection
File Tax forms (comes from AATA)
File Secretary of State Form (@ Board Retreat; ​Shared)
Manage email account, respond to emails, organize emails (Shared)
Create processes for future boards
