Calling all art therapists, educators, and creative professionals!
The Kentucky Art Therapy Association is seeking presenters for our upcoming Annual Symposium.
Do you have a workshop, research project, or therapeutic approach you’re excited to share? We want to hear from you!
Join us as we come together to grow, connect, and celebrate the power of art therapy.

We are seeking to add four (4) sessions to the second day of the symposium, May 30, 2026. 

Each of the presentations selected should plan to fill a 90-minute time slot, offering 1.5 CE hours each to our attendees. 

- - - DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS is 12:00pm on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2026- - - 

Selected presenters are required to submit all materials for this presentation to KYATA Executive Board - including presentation slides, handouts, and materials lists - no later than APRIL 30, 2026.   

All selected Presenters will receive the following discounted registration rates: 
Single Day - $35 / Full Program - $60​

REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESENTERS: 

The NBCC requires presenters meet criteria from one of the 3 following presenter categories:
Category 1 - Holds a graduate degree in a mental health field from a regionally accredited educational institution and is qualified by appropriate education, experience, and/or training to present/author the particular subject matter, or author the publication concerning the subject matter.
Category 2 - Holds a graduate degree from a regionally accredited educational institution directly related to the subject matter presented and is qualified by appropriate education, experience, and/or training to present/author the particular subject matter, or author the publication concerning the subject matter.
Category 3 - Is qualified by appropriate education, experience, and/or training to present/author the particular subject matter, or author the publication concerning the subject matter.​
